“Information is invaluable ” who else than  the Ex Servicemen Community, can understand the phrase. Post retirement, most of the Ex Service Men/ Their Widows/War Widows/their families stay in villages/towns. In most cases they have to visit nearby Sainik Kalyan offices to know basic welfare information, there too getting the answer for specific questions is daunting.

The situation is worse in cases where widows/wards are staying alone. Central and State Govt have initiated many welfare schemes and time to time they announce welfare measures for the well being of the community. However, it’s a Herculean task to make people aware about the same, often they come to know once the specific deadline passes. 

To address such gaps, Braveheart Soldier Foundation has initiated first of its kind Information and awareness related programme to be broadcasted on All India Radio,’s Jaipur/Jhujhunu/Sikar channels for Ex Servicemen community. Being The National Broadcaster and one with widest reach All India Radio (AIR) always remained preferred medium give the leverage to reach the masses to serve the cause. Brig. Karan Singh Rathore (Retd), Director-Sainik Kalyan Board, Rajasthan ; Brig. Bhagwan Singh,SM**, President- Rajasthan Ex-Services League; Col. Rajendra Singh Kadwasara, Col-Veteran, 61 Sub Area Veteran Branch and other eminent speakers have disseminated the useful information among the community.
